Reinhold Schlegelmilch German Bowl with Raised Iris Design 1898-1908
Beautiful antique bowl from Germany marked with the Suhl, Tillowitz Reinhold Schlegelmilch Red Steeple mark. This bowl has a raised wide gold rim with raised iris design in peach, teal and purple and a raised green leaf. Mixed wildflowers in center of bowl. Raised rim foot and center raised circle with hallmark.
Reinhold Schlegelmilch of Suhl, Germany. There RS factories were in Suhl and Tillowitz which is the reason for the S & T at the top of the steeple in the hallmark. Tillowitz is now Tulovice, Poland. The red steeple mark was used between 1898 and 1908. This is a very collectible and beautiful bowl - this is a must have addition to any collection of period porcelain.
We have found no chips, cracks or other flaws in this wonderful piece.

Measures, 2 7/8" tall x 10 1/2" diameter
Marked, as noted in photo.
Condition, very good with no cracks, chips or scratches that we could see, some color lose.
