Primitive 1800s, Wooden Butter Press Mold with Swan Pattern Design
Wonderful antique Butter Press Mold with a beautiful Swan pattern design. This was a very decorative way to dress up your table in the 1800s, after churning the butter you would place approximately one pound of butter into the press and push the handle down to reveal the oval shaped butter with your design on the top. This is a true antique not a remake.
This was found in rural Nebraska.

Circa; 1880-1900
Measures, 5½” tall, 4¾” wide at base
Condition, vintage condition with some stains in wood.
