Antique Pittsburg Pottery Company Three Gallon Butter Churn Crock, Diamond Brand Stoneware
Beautiful and Rare 3-gallons stoneware butter churn crock with blue cobalt label made by The Pittsburg Pottery Company which was in Pittsburg Kansas.
Pittsburg Pottery Company churns are not very common some would even say rare.
The churn is in wonderful condition with bright vivid blue cobalt logo and its original lid and wood churn stick.
Overall condition very good, has one small chip at base and lid has a repaired crack, shown in pictures.

History,
The Pittsburg Pottery Company was located at 2801 N. Broadway Pittsburg Kansas, then only employed 30 people, but its pottery was sold in 20 states. They were in business from 1913 till 1939 when the company was sold.


Circa, 1920s
Measurements, 13½” tall with lid, 9¾” diameter at center, weighs 14 pounds. Wood churn stick is 39” long.
