Wonderful Railroad Lantern made by the Dietz Lantern Company New York NY.
The lantern was made for the New York Central Railroad.
History,
The New York Central Railroad was a railroad primarily operating in the Great Lakes and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States.
Was in operation from 1853 to 1968.
Circa, 1920s
Marked, N.Y.C.S.
Measures, 9 3/4” tall with handle down, 6 ¼” diameter at base.
Condition, dents on wire guard, bottom has rust holes, globe is in great condition.
