1930s German Casige Sewing Machine Model 25, Little Red Riding Hood Edition
The name Casige, was pronounced (Kaseege), Casige produced toys from 1902 until 1975. This size of machine was not a toy as they were designed for children to learn how to sew - perfect size for making doll clothes. It is a single thread that produces a chain stitch.
The Casige Model 25 toy sewing machine was manufactured Pre-WW-II

Casige had over 83 models in over 600 different design combinations.
Engraved on the silver sewing plate is an eagle and Casige Made in Germany. Color is a gloss black on the base, has a wonderful rendition of Little Red Riding Hood on both sides of the machine.


Circa, 1930s
Machine Measures; 8” x 4 ½” x 7” tall.
Condition is very good with some minor paint scuffs and scratches, some discoloration and surface rust on chrome. Spool holder pin is bent at top. No needle – untested. Sold AS IS.
