1950s Crockett-Renalde Spurs with North and Judd Leather Straps, Cowboy Spurs.
One of the better-known names when it comes to antique and vintage western spurs. Oscar Crockett Spurs have been around since the 1920s starting in Kansas City, Oscar pasted away in 1949. Oscar’s wife Hazel continued to operate the company until 1951 when she sold it to James Renalde which branded the spurs (CR) Crockett-Renalde, the company finally closed in the 1980s.
These are made of chrome plated steel. The shank has a built-in chap guard and carries a 1¼ inch, 5-point star rowel. They have a 2” shank and the heal band / yoke has about a 3-inch spread. The worn tooled leather straps are made by North and Judd and have the Anchor logo on strap buckle.
These are as found worn dusty and dirty, straight off the ranch.
