1920s Half Gallon Ball Special Wide Mouth Fruit Jar
This is a wonderful antique Ball Special clear canning jar made in the 1920s
Ball started making the Wide Mouth Special Jars in 1909 and carried the name Ball Special till in the 1940s Ball added the word Widemouth to the label Ball Special Widemouth.
The BALL lettering indicates these were made between 1912 and 1923.
The number 4 on the bottom of the jar is a manufacturing line numbers, these vary per jar.

Measures, 9½” tall,
Circa, 1912-1923
Condition, nice clear and clean, some exterior scratches.
