We have for sale an Antique 1920s Adams & Westlake Railroad Lantern with a Macbeth Glass Globe.
Wonderful piece of Railroad Memorabilia this 1920s kerosene lantern made by the Adams & Westlake Co. for the Grand Trunk Western Railroad Company
The lantern is in wonderful vintage condition with beautiful glass globe the globe has raised lettering ADLAKE KERO on the front and Macbeth on the reverse side, it is considered a short globe. We mention the glass globe being short only because Adams & Westlake redesigned their lanterns in 1920 to use a shorter globe.
Patent dates on lantern range from 1921 to 1923

History,
MacBeth Glass, Founded in 1869 by George MacBeth in Indiana. In 1899 Macbeth merged with Thomas Evans to form the Macbeth-Evans Glass Co.
It was acquired by Corning Glass Works 1936.


Circa, 1920s
Measures, 23 ¾” tall.
Condition, very nice condition, very clean, couple dings on the top of the lantern and glass globe has flea bite chips on rim.
