We have for sale an Antique Griswold Cast Iron #3 Scotch Bowl, Large Block Lettering
Wonderful find the early 1920s Cast Iron Griswold Scotch Bowl made by Griswold of ERIE PA.
The bottom is labeled with the Griswold Large Block Lettering Logo which dates it in the 1920s

What is a Scotch Bowl,
A Scotch Bowl is a lidless, slope-sided kettle with bail handle. The bowl is made of iron or fireproof pottery. These bowls were most often used for making thick Scotch broth barley soup or for porridge. The bowl is lidless because porridge must be stirred constantly.

Circa, 1920s
Marked, 3, Griswold Erie 780
Measures, 10½” diameter at top, 4¼” tall.
Condition, wonderful, needs cleaned and seasoned before use. No cracks or chips.
