Official (The Milwaukee Road) Trainman Cap, The Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad.
Wonderful and Rare find this official Trainman’s Cap from the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad. The cap was made by the Carlson & Company of Chicago ILL. The cap is made of fabric with leather inner head band and a ridged brim, the front TRAINMAN badge is screwed on from inside the cap and the silver band is held in place by two silver plated brass side hat buttons which are in initialed CMStP&P.
The overall condition is good, the cap was in service and worn, the brim piping shows wear and the front badge and button have tarnish.

History,
The Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad (CMStP&P), often referred to as the "Milwaukee Road" was a Class I railroad that operated in the Midwest and Northwest of the United States from 1847 until 1986.
