1950s George Petty Flying Lady Chrome Hood Ornament 25218
Wonderful find this original 1950s Nash Automobile Flying Lady Hood Ornament. Designed by the great pinup artist George Petty.
The upper wing is signed Petty and the underneath of the wing has the model number 25218-1

History,
George Brown Petty was an American pin-up artist. His pin-up art appeared primarily in Esquire and Fawcett Publication's also in calendars marketed by Esquire, In the early 1950’s he designed hood ornaments for the Nash automobile.

Circa, 1950s
Marked, Petty
Measure, 12 ¾” long, 7” wide wingspan.
Condition, no chips or brakes, has some pitting in the chrome finish.
