Antique Glass Dazey Butter Churn 4-Quart
Wonderful and Original Dazey home butter churn made by the Dazey Churn & MFG. Co of St. Louis MO.
This is a 4-quart size with screw-on metal lid and wooden beater paddles and handle.

The glass jar is marked,

Patented FEB 14,22
Dazey Churn & MFG. Co.
St. Louis MO.
Made in U.S.A.

Overall condition is used and 100 years old, this year. Glass has scuffs on bottom and light scuff and scratches throughout, rim has a couple super tiny fleabite chips. Wood is very solid no missing parts; metal has paint lose and rust spots throughout.

History,
E.B. Jones developed a small glass churn for home use around 1904. Nathan Dazey purchased Jones' business and relocated it in St. Louis, Missouri as the Dazey Churn & Manufacturing Co. Dazey churns were made up until around 1945.

Circa, 1922
Measures, 13¾” tall, 6¼” square at base.
Condition, Very clean.
