120 Yr Old Brass Bullet with Hidden Corkscrew, Advertising Brown-Forman Old Forester Whiskey of Louisville, KY.
Wonderful find this was Patented Sept 4, 1900, by the Williamson Company of Newark, New Jersey. It is made up of a brass case with nickel plating on the tip to resemble a silver bullet the brass badge is an advertisement for Brown-Forman Old Forester Whiskey of Louisville, KY. The case unscrews in the middle to reveal a hidden corkscrew pull the corkscrew out and screw the case back together to form a handle for the corkscrew.

Marked, "Williamson Co. Newark, New Jersey Pat Sept 4, 1900.
Measures, 3” long
Condition, scuffs, and scratches.

History:
The bottle cap wasn’t invented until the 1892 by the Crown Cork Co. Baltimore, but not highly used until into the 1900s. Before the cap was introduced most all bottles had corks including Medicines, Perfumes, Beer and Alcohol.
