Thank you for viewing our Store,

We have for sale a Vintage 1940s Glass Chicken Waterer
Wonderful piece of history this glass waterer for chicks and chickens. A very simple design using gravity, fill the jar full of water place the base on top of the jar and tip over, once the water fills the tray up to the jar it causes an airlock preventing water from being released until the water in the tray decreases.
The base was designed to hold an inverted fruit jar / canning jar with a 2 ¼” opening. The jar accompanying the base is an Atlas E-Z Seal quart size jar made around 1910-20. Jar has wonderful bubbles and waves in the glass very common during this era.
We have only two waterers available, please select quantity when purchasing, thank you.
