We have for sale a Singer Sewhandy Model 40k
Wonderful 1960s Childs Singer Sewing Machine, this is a Sewhandy Model 40k made in Great Britain, Singer introduced the model 40k in the early 1960s. These machines are fully functional and actually sew and were designed to teach children how to sew, they product a chain stitch thread pattern using only one thread, no lower bobbin. The machine is made up of a cast iron base with a metal sewing bed and the upper portion of the machine is cast aluminum, these are very well build. It has a thread tension adjuster just like a larger machine would, it is a hand crank machine so no electrical or fast-moving parts.
This machine comes with the original box, hard-side plastic carry case, instruction manual and in a package is 1- cloth guide & screw, 1-neddle threader. This machine is in amazing condition, we have cleaned, tested, and show a sample of the stitch produced.

Dimensions, 8” x 4 ¼” at base, 6” tall without thread spool. Case 10” x 5” x 8 ½” tall.
Condition, very clean and operates smoothly, the carry case has damage to one side as shown in pictures.
