1953 Wooden Ammunition Crate
Wonderful old Ammunition Crate from the Lake City Ammunition Plant in Independence, Missouri. This held 620 rounds of 30cal. Ammunition Lot# LC 39216. The crate was shipped from the Pueblo Ordnance Depot in Pueblo Colorado to the Kadoka Rod and Gun Club of Kadoka South Dakota. The lid is attached with wing nuts and bolts as shown, this is a very strong / well-built crate.
Crate is dated February 16, 1953
Circa, 1950s
Marked, LC 39216
Measure, 15 ¼” x 13 ¼” x 11” tall.
Condition, very good for age.
