We have for sale an Antique Duplex Mfg. Cistern Pump #2
Wonderful old cast iron hand pump made by Duplex Manufacturing of Superior Wis. USA. This is the type of water pump you would have found in the kitchen. I still remember the one my Great Grandmother had in the kitchen.
The original color of this pump was green, only a little of the original paint remains. The pump is in wonderful condition with no noticeable damage, still has all its internal parts.

History,
The Duplex Manufacturing Company was founded in Brooklyn, Wisconsin in the 1880s as the Duplex Windmill Company. Around 1892, the company relocated to Superior, Wisconsin. In 1895 the company changed its name to the Duplex Manufacturing Company.


Circa, 1920-1930s
Marked, Made in U.S.A.
Measure, 19” tall, weighs 21 pounds.
Condition, very good for age, as described above.
