We have for sale a Vintage Enamelware Pot
Wonderful old Enamelware Pot in white with blue edge trim. This is a large Stockpot with lid, it holds 2 ½ gallons it is 100% vintage from the 1920-30s, the upper wood handle folds down and is a wire bail style. The lid fits loosely.
Perfect for home décor or even a country flowerpot, Use it in the kitchen as a wonderful décor piece or as a compost collection pot.
History,
Enamelware was first produced in American in the 1870s and was extremely popular through the 1930s, it was tuff and rugged perfect for the outdoors and travel. In the 1960s and 70s there was a resurgence in Enamelware as the population engaged the great outdoors once again, its lightweight and virtually kid proof.
Circa, 1920-30s
Measurements, 13” tall with lid and wood handle down, 11 ¾” diameter at top rim.
Condition, as shown in pictures, clean with enamel chips.
