Singer Featherweight Sewing Machine, Singer 221, Precision Sewing

We have for sale a vintage Singer 221-1 portable featherweight sewing machine and carrying case. Serial # AM386343. The machine badge was issued on February 27, 1956, and was manufactured in Elizabethsport, NJ, USA. It has an original 110-volt motor and beautiful chrome trim. The machine, case, instruction book and attachments are all in good vintage condition. We’ve had several machines in the last few years and this one purrs. The case is in good vintage condition showing wear, consistent with age and use.
This is a very nice machine finished in that classic deep gorgeous shiny black featherweight paint, gold decals and chrome trim.

We have thoroughly cleaned and serviced this machine and replaced any worn or faulty parts. Machine has a newer electrical cord not replaced by us.

Overall Condition of the MACHINE is very good runs and operates smoothly, only has light wear from use on sewing bed, light scuffs, and scratches (as shown in pictures). The instruction manual is very worn we will include it with sale and also a copy of an original manual.
CASE, clasps work smoothly, very structurally solid, fabric inside and outside case shows some wear as shown in pictures.
