We have for sale a Gold Medal Flour Cook Book Featuring Betty Crocker
Wonderful find this 1917 cookbook from the Washburn Crosby’s Company makers of Gold Medal Flour. This cookbook was first copy righted in 1909 and reissued in 1917 which would be its last copy right date. Washburn Crosby’s Company were the original producers of Betty Crocker, she was on their ads for Gold Medal Flour. Betty Crocker would reappear in 1928 with General Mills. This was the last publication of this cookbook to be followed by the Gold Medals new Recipe Box with Index Card Recipes.

History,
The Washburn Crosby’s Company and four other companies merged in 1928 forming the General Mills Corp.

Book has a stapled wrapped binding; overall condition is a (9) with only minimal wear on cover and page edges and corners.

Condition, extremely nice condition with light wear on cover and page corners and edges.
