We have for sale a Vintage 1945 KAYanEE, SEW MASTER Child’s Sewing Machine. Made in Berlin Germany, US-Zone
This is a beautiful Pink KAYanEE SEW MASTER. It is a manually operated version.
This size of machine was not a toy as they were designed for children to learn how to sew - perfect size for making doll clothes. It is a single thread that produces a chain stitch.
Adorable display piece for a crafter or child’s room! Pretty In Pink.
History,
The KAYanEE Corporation of America had these machines made in West Germany in the US Occupied Zone of Berlin 1945, right after WWII, this was to help reestablish manufacturing in war torn Germany
They were manufactured by F.W. Muller Co. for KAYanEE and distributed in the USA. The Muller Co. closed in 1979.
Circa, 1945-49
Machine Measures; 8” x 4 ¼” x 6 ½” tall
Condition is wonderful it has only minor scuffs and flaws in the paint, some light rust spots on chrome, needle is broken but we left it in so the buyer would have a size reference, does not have the hold down clamp. Unable to test for functionality.
