We have for sale an Antique Monmouth Pottery Co. Three Gallon Crock
Wonderful find this late 1800s three-gallon stoneware crock made by the Monmouth Pottery Company of Monmouth ILL.
This is a rare crock the company was only in business for 14 years, before being acquired by The Western Stoneware Company.
The Western Company continued to use the Maple Leaf Logo Pattern for another 25 years, but the name was changed to the Western Stoneware Company.
This 3-gallon crock will make a wonderful addition to your collection or as a special gift.

History,
The Monmouth Pottery Company was in Monmouth, Illinois. The factory opened in 1892. They made a variety of utilitarian wares. The company was purchased by The Western Stoneware Company in 1906. The Maple Leaf Logo was still used until about 1930.

Circa, Late 1890s
Measurements, 10 ¼” tall, 10 ½” diameter at top rim, weighs 13-pounds
Condition, good with normal manufacturing blemishes, a hairline cracks on the left side as shown in pictures, spot below logo at base is a manufacturing blemish.
