We have for sale an Antique French Wine Bottle Washer
Wonderful find this 1800s hand crank bottle washer made in France and named the LA FACILE (The Easy).
This is a very ingenious device, the bottle washer clamps onto the edge of a wood barrel or tub full of water with the crank handle outside the barrel. The washer is made with a brass tub/shaft that has a built-in water pump at the lower end that pumps water up to the wire brushes at the top end of the shaft as you crank the handle. You simple inverted your wine bottle place it on the top of the brass shaft and push down, the outer sleeve of the shaft slides down and the brushes are exposed. You crank the handle the brushes rotate, and the pump pulls water up the shaft and sprays it out on the wire brushes the water then falls into the brass cup and out the drain hole back into the barrel. The Washer still works as intended.
This will make an amazing display piece for a winery, wine room or an addition to your barware collection.

Measures, 29” tall, 6” bowl diameter.
Condition, vintage condition scuffs and scratches paint loss and brass bowl has dings.
