We have for sale a charming vintage Singer 221-1 portable featherweight sewing machine that includes several attachments, plus an automatic buttonholer and the machine carrying case. This will be a treasure to own and operate!
Serial # AL933400. The machine badge was issued on January 17, 1955, and the machine was manufactured in Elizabethtown, NJ. It has an original 110-volt motor and beautiful chrome trim. The machine and attachments are in excellent vintage condition. We’ve had several machines in the last few years and this one is in the top ten for overall condition. The lockable case is in excellent vintage condition showing very minimal wear, which is not usually the case for this age of machine. Both original keys are included.
This is a very nice machine finished in that classic deep gorgeous shiny black featherweight paint, gold decals and chrome trim that shows minimal wear. The original foot pedal and electrical cord makes the motor hum. The attachments are also in very good vintage condition.
We have cleaned and serviced this machine and replaced any worn or faulty parts.
Our shipping charge includes meticulous packing to ensure no damage occurs during transit. Every shipment we have done has arrived undamaged even as far away as Alaska.

Condition, overall condition is very good, runs smooth and quiet. Some normal scuffs and scratches from use on bed and base. Case is very good condition, scratch on the back of case.
