We have for sale an Antique Handy Clothes Drying Rack.
Beautiful antique drying rack made by Handy Manufacturing Company of Chicago Ill.
This wall mount rack features 8-wooden arms that separate with a cast iron metal back mount.
Each wooden arm measures 24" with 23" of hanging space for clothing, one of the arms was replaced at some point. The metal hook latches onto the edge of the armature to keep the arms at a 90-degree angle and then unlatches to flatten back onto the wall.
The overall width can be up to 50” wide or smaller depending on how far apart you spread the wooden arms.
A truly wonderful and useful display piece. The rack has been cleaned and is ready for display or use, cast iron can be painted desired. Easily attaches to the wall with screws (not supplied), should be attached to wall stud.
History,
The Handy Manufacturing Co. was established in 1909 by M. B. Joseph and H. H. Joseph in Chicago Ill. The company was in business until 1977. The company manufactured household items and woodworking tools.

Condition, very nice used condition with lots of natural patina, couple wood slates have light warpage.
