We have for sale an Antique General Store / Butcher Shop Paper Dispenser These were used in General stores, Butcher Shops and Department stores for wrapping your purchases in paper. The dispenser has a cast iron base and side rails with metal spring loaded cutting edge and wood top beam. The iron base is attached to the wood top beam with screws and square nuts. The dispenser is in wonderful condition and perfect for display or to use. Holds a 19 ½” wide paper roll or smaller.
Circa, 1890s -1920
Measures, 24.25 wide at wood top, 12.25” tall, 6 ½” tall.
Condition, very solid no damage, light wear from use. Please see all pictures.
