We have for sale an Antique Ball Mason Fruit Jar with zinc lid , Quart Size, Triple L Logo
Wonderful find a true collector piece this Ball Mason Fruit Jar. The marking on this jar date it to have been made between 1896-1910, it is known as a (Triple L) logo design. These jars were molded use a two-piece manufacturing method the top rim was placed onto the base while it was still molten glass. The base on the jar is marked E and 4.
The jar is in very nice condition with lots of bubbles in the glass, no rim chips but some manufacturing roughness. There is a line just below the treads which looks like a crack it is not a crack it is a manufacturing line in the glass. Not flat on bottom has a slight rock.

Measurements; 7” tall, 3 ¾” diameter at base.
