We have for sale an Antique Brass Hand Bell or Cow Bell
Wonderful old brass bell designed after a bell from a Swedish foundry. These were mass produced between 1900 and 1940 pre-WWII and sold by Sears and Roebuck Company. This bell is in very good condition and made of solid cast brass with steel hanger and clapper.

History:
Saignelegier is a town in Switzerland, Chiantel is the name of the company which produced the bell. Fondeur means foundry (It is a French word). Guessing the 1878 is the date the foundry was created.

Circa; 1900-1940
Marked: 1878 Saignelegier, Chiantel Fondeur
Measures; 4 ½” tall, 5” diameter
Condition; Very nice condition no chips or cracks, with good sound.
