We have for sale a Vintage Dietz Vesta Railroad Lantern from the N.Y.C.S. New York Central Railroad.
Wonderful 1927 Dietz Vesta Railroad Lantern. This lantern was made for the New York Central Railroad System and marked N.Y.C.S. on the top of the lantern and the glass globe is marked with raised letters NYC Lines.
The condition is very good used condition with some paint loss, it is 92 years old. Has the original cloth wick. Glass is solid with no cracks has a couple chips on top edge from use.
We have lightly clean but left all the natural patina, it has NO gas or oil smell perfect for display.
If you are in love with New York this is a true piece of New York History.

Marked; Dietz Vesta with a patent date of November 8, 1927
Measure approximately; 15” tall with handle up. 6 ½” diameter at base.
Condition; pure vintage with lots of natural patina has scuffs and dings from age. Please see all pictures.
